LSA Family Health Service, founded by the Little Sisters of the Assumption, strengthens and empowers vulnerable families and children by meeting their basic needs for food, healthcare, education and a safe home, in the belief that affirming families in their own dignity improves the entire community.
Today, LSA Family Health Service programs fall into two clusters. The first is Community Health and Wellness. This includes our Food Pantry and Advocacy program, Nursing/Certified Home Health Agency and Environmental Health Services. The second group is Family Support, which includes Parenting and Child Development, Preventive Services and the Sharing Place Thrift Store.
