About the invitation
The artwork used for this year’s invitation is Sábado en la Ciento Diez (Saturday on 110th Street) (1996) © Manuel Vega, NYCT 110th Street Station, commissioned by Metropolitan Transportation Authority Arts & Design.
Manny Vega is a painter, illustrator, printmaker, muralist, mosaicist, and set and costume designer. His public art projects and mosaics have created a special artistic presence in the streets of East Harlem. Sábado en la Ciento Diez, a series of four murals, can be seen on the platforms of the East Harlem subway station at 110th Street.
